By day (and often night), Serene works as an entertainment attorney for a California-based firm, and by night, she writes stories to make readers laugh, cry, and reflect. She lives in Dallas with her dog, Snoop, who can do no wrong, and her husband, Nick, who somehow manages to only do wrong.

She loves to devour good books, make healthier dupes of all her guilty pleasures, workout, and travel to warm beachfront destinations. Family is everything to her— her sisters are her best friends, and nothing compares to cuddling with her nieces and nephews.
