By day (and often night), Serene works as an entertainment attorney for a California-based firm, and by night, she writes stories to make readers laugh, cry, and reflect. She lives in Dallas with her dog, Snoop, who can do no wrong, and her husband, Nick, who somehow manages to only do wrong.

She loves to devour good books, make healthy dupe desserts, lift heavy weights at the gym, and travel to warm beachfront locations.
